FBI Fingerprinting Service

fingerprint_optical_scannerChild Development, Inc. provides FBI optical fingerprint scanning services ONLY.

We DO NOT provide certified ink fingerprinting services.  We also know that the Pennsylvania  State Police does NOT do certified ink fingerprinting services.

If you need certified ink fingerprinting services, you may want to check with your local police department,  sheriff’s department or your employer/prospective employer’s  Human Resources Department.

We cannot answer questions regarding which agency you must register under for your fingerprinting (such as the Department of Education, the Department of Human Services, etc.)  YOUR Human Resources Department will know that information.

We cannot tell you the cost of your fingerprinting – prices differ for each situation and will be provided to you during the registration process on the PA COGENT ID web site or by phone  at 1-888-439-2486.

We do not have a waiting room.  Therefore, we cannot accommodate large groups of applicants (no more than 4 people at one time), especially walk-ins.  If you have a large group of applicants to fingerprint, you will need to call to make appointments.

Because we do not have a waiting room,  we ask that no more than 2 people enter our office at a time. When the first person is finished, we will have them leave and ask them to send in the next person in their group.
