• I-78/22 West to Rt. 61 North through Pottsville, continue North on Rt. 61 through Frackville to Fountain Springs

• Note: in Frackville, Rt. 61 turns left at traffic light, then will go straight for several miles into Ft. Springs.

• At the Ft. Springs intersection (a T with Stop sign), turn right and proceed 2 blocks to Cemetery Rd.

• Cemetery on right across from St. Catherine’s Hospital

• Turn right onto Cemetery Road and proceed to Catherine St. and Center.

• Center is red brick school building.  Enter building through double doors on Catherine St. Proceed up stairs.

Alternative Route: 

• Rt. 309 North to Rt. 54 in Hometown. 
• Take Rt. 54 West to I-81 South, one exit to Exit 36 Frackville/St. Clair. 
• Take the Frackville Exit, Rt. 61 North into Frackville, and proceed on Rt. 61 as above.

MAHANOY CITY CENTER

From Hometown/Vulcan Hill side:

• Proceed on Center Street to the center of town to the traffic light at Main St (M&T Bank/James J Rhoades Building on right).

• Turn RIGHT onto Main St.

• Travel under the overpass

• Veer RIGHT at the “Y” (do not follow onto Rt. 339)

• Immediately turn LEFT into the Mahanoy Center parking lot.

From the Gilberton/Shenandoah side:

• Proceed on Center Street to the center of town to the traffic light at Main St (M&T Bank/James J Rhoades Building on left).

• Turn LEFT onto Main St.

• Travel under the overpass

• Veer RIGHT at the “Y” (do not follow onto Rt. 339)

• Immediately turn LEFT into the Mahanoy Center parking lot.

From Morea Rd./Burma Rd.

• Proceed down Cemetery Rd as it turns into Spruce St.

• At the bottom of the hill turn RIGHT onto Main St.

• Straight through the “blinker” light to the traffic light at Centre St. (M&T Bank on right/James J Rhoades Building on left)

• Travel straight across Centre St., under the overpass

• Veer RIGHT at the “Y” (do not follow onto Rt. 339)

• Immediately turn LEFT into the Mahanoy Center parking lot.

From points north (I-81)

• Take St. Clair Exit (Route 61 South)

• Follow Rt. 61 South down the mountain to St. Clair (Wal-Mart will be on your left). From this point you will go through 6 traffic lights.

• At the intersection where RITE AID is on your left and the POTTSVILLE DINER is on your right, turn RIGHT and follow this road down the hill until you reach a "T" in the road (Maroon’s Sports Bar on left).

• At the "T", make a LEFT onto Centre Street in Pottsville.  Follow Centre Street until the next traffic light.

• At this traffic light, make a RIGHT onto Laurel Boulevard and proceed west on Laurel Boulevard (up a steep hill) to a stop sign. Continue on Laurel Boulevard until the next stop sign at 7^th Street.

• At this stop sign, make a RIGHT onto 7th Street and proceed down to the bottom of the hill. Turn LEFT onto Mt. Hope Avenue. (The school is on the left hand side of 7th Street (Red Brick Building) and faces Mt. Hope Avenue.)

• Enter the building through the main door in front of the building that faces Mt. Hope Avenue.

From points south (I-78)              

• I-78 West to Pottsville/Hamburg exit, Rt. 61 North. 

• Follow Rt. 61 North into Pottsville.(Dunkin donuts), 

• Proceed to the third traffic light, (Pizza Hut on right, and Schuylkill County Visitor Center off to left). 

• At that light turn left, and then immediate right onto Railroad St. to first intersection, at the “Y” bear another left onto Laurel Blvd. 

• Proceed on Laurel Blvd. up hill, pass City Hall at first traffic light and Courthouse at stop sign.

• Continue on Laurel Blvd. to next Stop sign at 7th St.

• At this stop sign, make a RIGHT onto 7th Street and proceed down to the bottom of the hill. Turn LEFT onto Mt. Hope Avenue. (The school is on the left hand side of 7th Street (Red Brick Building) and faces Mt. Hope Avenue.)

• Enter the building through the main door in front of the building that faces Mt. Hope Avenue.

SHENANDOAH CENTER

From Frackville:

• Proceed on Route 924 (Main Street) to the third traffic light.

• Turn RIGHT onto East Centre Street.

• Continue on East Centre Street for about two blocks.

• Center is located on the left:  125 East Center Street, Suite 6

From Shenandoah Heights:

• Proceed on Route 924 (Main Street).

• At the first traffic light turn LEFT onto East Centre Street

• Continue on East Centre Street for two blocks

• Center is located on the left:  125 East Center Street, Suite 6

TAMAQUA CENTER

From Schuylkill Haven:

• Follow Route 443 North to Route 309 North to the "Five Points" intersection in Tamaqua

• Route 309 North turns into Much Chunk Street -it bears slightly to the right.

• At the traffic light, bear LEFT - you will be on Pine Street.

• Follow Pine Street for approximately 1 1/2 blocks to St. Peter and Paul's Church.

• Turn RIGHT into the parking lot and proceed to the rear. (There will be a "Child Development, Inc." sign on the building).

• Enter through the door on the RIGHT.

From Pottsville:

• Follow Route 209 East/North through Port Carbon, New Philadelphia and Middleport to the "Five Points" intersection in Tamaqua (Route 209 turns into Broad Street)

• At the "Five Points" intersection turn LEFT onto into Mauch Chunk Street

• At the traffic light, bear LEFT - you will be on Pine Street

• Follow Pine Street for approximately 1 1/2 blocks to Sts. Peter and Paul's Church

• Turn RIGHT into the parking lot and proceed to the rear. (There will be a "Child Development, Inc." sign on the building).

• Enter through the door on the RIGHT
